Luke McLaughlin - Guitar & Drums

My first memories of playing music go back to playing around with a harmonica at a very young age. I moved on to guitar when I was twelve years old but it wasn’t until high school that I started taking lessons, practicing regularly and taking it seriously. My lessons had a focus on finger-style blues guitar, but I always had an appreciation for all types of music. I joined the drum-line in the high school marching band, as well as the jazz ensemble where I began playing the drums. Around this time I started recording myself and my friends at home and becoming familiar with the tech side of things.

After high school I was an intern at a recording studio in Harrisonburg, VA called Alive Studios. Eventually I was hired part time as an assistant engineer. Shortly after this I attended trade school for Audio Engineering and Music Production in Ohio.
