On April 8th and 9th, the Pittsburgh Concert Society, which promotes the finest Pittsburgh-based classical musicians, held their annual Spring Majors Auditions for 2022. The Major Auditions is a competition that is judged by nationally known adjudicators, including deans and faculty of leading schools of music. All candidates were judged on their skill level and the quality of their performance. Our instructor, Dr. Bank Limtham, participated in this competition and became a winner alongside six additional candidates!
All winners received an award from the William and Eleanor Benswanger Memorial Fund of the Pittsburgh Foundation. All six winners will be presented in three concerts as well. The concert for Dr. Bank will be held at the Kresge Theater, College of Fine Arts, at Carnegie Mellon University on November 6th at 2pm.
Congratulations to Bank for this major accomplishment!
