Vicky DavideList Item 1
Vicky is a multi-instrumentalist hailing from Miami, FL. She grew up playing piano, ukulele, flute, and saxophone, continuing till the university level. While classically trained, she dapples in more expressive styles such as jazz and experimental. Vicky continues to hone her craft by playing in orchestras, bands, chamber groups, and solo projects around the city. She has been teaching piano and ukulele, for one-on-one and group lessons, since 2016. Vicky is passionate about helping everyone find their spark for learning music.

Halla WilliamsList Item 2
Halla Joy Williams grew up in lessons and shows at an extremely young age! She has since received a BFA in Musical Theatre from Youngstown State University, has been blessed to teach theater full-time, and has recently moved back to her hometown and has opened her own private vocal studio Angels in the Attic in New Brighton, PA. As a teacher and coach, she strives to elevate individual gifts and talents to achieve captivating performers.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh I've been playing the drums for 13 years and gigging from a young age. Music is a deeply personal exploration that will take everyone on a different journey. As a former sunburst student, I learned that the enthusiasm of an instructor can make all the difference. I am dedicated to helping students grow and achieve their musical goals in whatever way is best for them, and I am excited by new opportunities to teach!

Juanita LealList Item 4
Juanita Leal is a soprano and voice pedagogue who holds a Master's degree in Voice Performance from the Mary Pappert School of Music and a BA in Musical Studies with a focus on Voice Performance from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Throughout her career, she has been an active member of various vocal groups and choirs, including Sociedad Coral Santa Cecilia, Coro de la Ópera de Colombia, and the undergraduate choir at Javeriana. Her vocal experiences encompass a wide range of performances, from opera productions like Otello, Carmina Burana, and Madama Butterfly to collaborations with the rock band The Rolling Stones and as a soloist in Johann Hassler's Salmo por las víctimas de la Violencia.
As a soloist, Juanita has been featured in prestigious events like the opera music festival "Ópera al Parque" in Bogotá and has participated in classical music festivals such as "Bogotá is Mozart" and "Bogotá is Schumann, Schubert, and Brahms." In 2022, she made her operatic debut as Monica in Gian Carlo Menotti's opera, The Medium. Alongside her performing career, Juanita's passion for teaching voice led her to establish the Vox Lab, her voice studio in Colombia, where she began her journey as a voice researcher. Her dedication to the field of voice pedagogy earned her the 2022 Graduate Research Symposium Award from the Mary Pappert School of Music.
